Both books are part of the Tretter Collection in Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Studies, the largest collection of LGBTQ+ history in the Midwest, located in the Elmer L. Andersen Library at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN.

Her current book, Losing Katy: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and Living Grief, was released August 26, 2025 and is now available. See her home page for details of where it can be ordered!

Jackie's writing has always been personal in nature and carries with it the hope of helping others, bringing a sense of connection and understanding in situations where it is easy to feel alone and misunderstood.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, she moved to the Minneapolis, MN area 40 years ago. She now lives on the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior where she is currently working on her next project, a novel with elements of magical realism.
